Save the backup in a Zip format that can be opened by Winzip or similar program. This is essential and is holding back what it otherwise a good utility.

I have been in the industry for 25 years now and the ONLY backups I can restore from the early days are those saved in a zip file format.

You can mess around with the user interface, provide simple features like incremental backups etc BUT If you want to significantly improve take up then optionally allowing a Zip backup format is essential.
