Ocster Backup Pro 5

Ocster Backup Pro 5 very easy to use software for creating fully automatic backups of your files and folders. It supports versioning (access old versions of your files) and with automatic pausing it will never slow down your computer when you need it. Backups can be stored on an external hard disk, on a network drive or online. The software supports email backups, incremental backups, encryption, compression, open file backup, email reports and much more.

Add backup for all installed drivers..

I would like to see an option to backup of all installed drivers, their reg entries and .inf files, etc.

Save the backup in a Zip format that can be opened by Winzip or similar program. This is essential and is holding back what it otherwise a good utility.

I have been in the industry for 25 years now and the ONLY backups I can restore from the early days are those saved in a zip file format. You can mess around with the user interface, provide simple features like incremental backups etc BUT If...

Add the capability of creating a disk image of the backed up files, for easy restoring of a computer.

This is especially useful for computers switching from a computer with Windows XP or Vista to Windows 7.

Make optional recovery disk or usb for accesing computer that cannot be booted due to currupted OS

Synchronisation of files/folders instead of a straightforward backup so that you can run the same backup daily or weekly to only copy files that have changed or delete files that no longer exist (if required)

Add backup capabilities for alternate e-mail/calendar clients, i.e. Thunderbird, Google Calendar, etc. in addition to MS Outlook

Add backup and restore for Outlook Accounts and Rules etc in the event of a system crash to get Outlook back to the same condition it was.

Auto start of backup (or synchronisation if the feature is added) with the option to quit or continue when inserting a portable drive such as a USB stick that has a backup on it

Backup should look for 'unique' drive names. That is, 'BACK-1TB-AMY' should backup regarless of Windows' drive letter. Especially important if you have something like a multifunction printer that may add/remove four drive 'letters'
